About Me

My name is Dan Cearley, but my alter-ego is Task Man Dan.

My superpower: taking on those everyday tasks others can’t… or simply don’t want to (it’s ok, we’re all friends here).

For years, I’ve taken pride in keeping my home and workplaces in tip-top shape -- clean, organized, and well-stocked. Armed with my attention to detail and a decade of customer service experience, I’m committed to using my talents to help you tackle the chores that easily slip through the cracks whether due to constraints on time, mobility, or just because hardworking people in the Greater Bloomington area need something taken off their plate.

  • Task Man Dan offers cleaning services that are more customizable (and lower cost) than the typical cleaning service.

    While full-home cleaning is offered, Task Man Dan is ideal for specific cleaning tasks even as focused as cleaning a single room or item (e.g. sinks or floors).

    Also, Task Man Dan is a registered LLC, providing the same level of professionalism as other cleaning services.

  • Task Man Dan offers flexibility in pricing.

    Task Man Dan charges a rate of $50 an hour for cleaning services and $30 an hour for running errands. Any odds and ends services are negotiable with rates running from $30-$60 an hour.

  • While Task Man Dan doesn't haul trash, make runs to the dump, or otherwise remove large amounts of waste, errands like a Goodwill run (within reason—depending on time, number, and size of items) are available as services.

  • Task Man Dan has a decade of experience as an employee and manager at a large grocery store chain, so is uniquely qualified to choose quality produce, meats, and other items.

    This service is also ideal for a more personal touch: Task Man Dan listens and is ready to take your preferences into account and provides more flexibility with substitutions than typical grocery delivery.

  • Task Man Dan is not certified for advanced home improvement, electrical, plumbing, or similar tasks.

    Simple repairs, furniture assembly and rearranging, and a plethora of other tasks make up the offerings list as Task Man Dan is actually more than a handyman.

  • Task Man Dan prioritizes trustworthiness and professionalism—you can be sure he’ll be respectful while in your home and on top of things when running errands on your behalf.

    Task Man Dan is also an LLC for an added layer of security and professionalism.

  • Task Man Dan offers a one time %50 discount for the first two hours of service provided to new customers.
